☀️ Good Afternoon, beloved.
Maybe today has been long. Maybe you’ve been carrying questions you don’t know how to put into words. Maybe you’ve smiled in front of everyone while quietly trying to hold yourself together.
But you don’t have to pretend before God.
He already knows your heart. He sees the broken places, the silent tears, the battles nobody knows about, and the prayers you struggle to say.
Today, simply come to Him and say:
“It’s me again, Lord.” ❤️
🙏 Good Afternoon Prayer
Heavenly Father,
It’s me again, Lord.
It has been a long day, and I’ve been carrying questions I don’t know how to say.
I’ve smiled when I needed to hold myself together, but some storms feel like they might last forever.
So here I am, Lord, with nothing to pretend.
I’m coming to You just as I am, talking to You like an old and trusted friend.
You know my heart before a word is spoken.
You see the parts of me that still feel broken.
You know the burdens I carry and the tears I hide from everyone else.
Lord, I have come to sit with You for a while, searching for Your comfort.
Quiet my heart.
Calm my thoughts.
Give me strength for the things I cannot change and faith for the things I am still waiting for.
Remind me that this storm will not last forever.
Help me trust You even when I don’t understand.
Hold me close when I feel tired, and remind me that I don’t have to carry everything alone.
Father, breathe peace into my situation.
Restore what has been broken.
Heal what still hurts.
Give me hope where I have almost given up.
I surrender this afternoon and everything weighing on my heart into Your hands.
Thank You for listening when I come to You again and again.
Thank You for never getting tired of me.
I trust You, Lord.
